Joshua Milo wants to make jazz fusion fun – less brainy, but all the more thrilling, humorous, and danceable. You can hear his spirit of musical discovery in every note: at times it feels like racing through a Mario Kart track, other times like wandering through a dusty desert landscape. One moment, the stage crackles with explosive energy; the next, a near-meditative calm settles in. Brimming with interaction – both within the band and with the audience – each concert becomes a shared experience, full of unexpected twists and collective euphoria.
Joshua’s 7-piece live band features some of the finest jazz-fusion musicians Germany has to offer. After countless shows across their home country and Europe, the ensemble has grown into a tight-knit musical unit.
On June 12, Joshua Milo presents his new studio album WAIT WHAT live on stage at the Privatclub. The album releases on June 5 and follows his live album LIVE 2022, which came out two years ago and was met with an enthusiastic response from fans. With WAIT WHAT, Joshua takes his energetic jazz-fusion sound to the next level.
